Why should Matariki be a public holiday.

Matariki is a Maori celebration which comes every year on 15 of June. Matariki means in English eyes of God and also Matariki is the oldest of the seven Matariki stars. We celebrate Matariki because of the planting that we do and the time to plant our crops. We also celebrate Matariki to say thank you to the land gods for what they have done and it is an important festival for the Maori people.

I think that Matariki should be a public holiday because everyone around the world will know about Matariki. We should also have Matariki a public holiday so we can spend time with our family and friends and remember all the fun times that we had and so teachers and also workers can get a day off like Labour Day, Christmas, Queen’s birthday and also Anzac day.

Congratulations with your baby girl.

Welcome to our country. We thank you for being NZ prime minister and we give you congratulations on your new baby girl. I think that you should name your baby Mystery Ardern Gayford because at first, you didn't know if it was a girl or a boy. Also, you should send your baby when she is older to Glen Innes School because it's an excellent school and she can learn a bunch of things.
