Nike Shoes

I like nike shoes because they are so popular and famous and most of the nike shoes sout with your clothes. I have Nike cortez's and most of my family always buy Nike shoes because they are so

cool but some of my family buy chuks. Chuks are a little bit cool but I like nikes more than chuks because of there colour. And thats why I like nikes.

 How I can stay safe around electricity.

How I stay safe around electricity.Never put fingers or other objects in an outlet and keep metal objects out of toasters and never use anything with a cord or plug around water never pull a plug out by its cord.Stay away from substations and power lines.Don't climb on power poles and  never fly kites near power lines.You should always look around you if there is any electricity things and you should always look around to see if there is any switch off and always see if no one is playing with electricity.

Hurricane.

 I feel sorry for the people who lost their houses and now they have no where to stay.Lots of people died and there were floods that looked like rivers .The hurricane was in texas lots of windows were smashed , cars were  sinking in the flood water and the flood waters were  everywhere.People who were in the terrible hurricane were so sad that there beautiful town had crashed down and demolished.

 

The most interesting toy.

Some of the classes at Glen Innes school were making a toy that had to have a pulley,wheel and axle,lever,gears,inclined plane,ramp,wedge and fulcrum.The whole school had to make a toy. Some people in my classroom were making ramps,pulley,lever,gears and more stuff.  My toy was about a well that pulls up water and the machine that I was using it was a pulley.

My class had to spild up because my teacher had to go somewhere but he came back to help us with our projects that we were making. Then we had to go to our class that we were split up to. I was in room 7 and in that class we had to finish off our work.In the middle session we had to go in the hall to look at the people's projects that they made,some of them were so fascinating.But when I saw room 6 sling shots it was marvelous,I went to go check it out a girl from room 6 made her own slingshot,she used a car and little army people on it and she put the slingshot at the back of the car.

At lunch the whole school had a hangi and it was so delicious. The CookIsland group cooked it for us and we enjoyed it very much. It was so cool on Friday.

We  Measure Small lengths with a ruler

We  Measure small lengths in Centimetres & Millimeter

We  Measure longer things in meters and kilometers

CM stand for  Centimetres

MM stand for Millimeter

M stands for meters

KM stands for kilometers

10mm =1cm

100 cm = 1m

1000 kg = lkg
